Ever since Missy Moo could crawl she has been obsessed with little chairs. It’s like her way of playing diva and a queen all at once. She sits on her throne and the smile that over takes her face is ever so cheeky, like she just climbed Mount Everest. As soon as I opened the box to our Laugh & Learn Smart Stages Chair she was ecstatic. She couldn’t wait to climb up on it and play. Little did she know this was no ordinary chair.
The Smart Stages Chair has three different stages of learning just by flipping a switch. Every baby learns at a different level so you can choose the one that best fits your baby. Here are some age guidelines to give you an idea.
Level 1 – Explore – 6M+ First words and sounds spark baby’s curiosity
Level 2 – Encourage –12M+ Prompt baby though questions and simple directions
Level 3 – Pretend – 18M+ Imaginative fun and early role play
The Smart Stages chair features are a great way to learn and develop as your baby grows. Throughout each stage there are a variety of developmentally songs, phrases, and sounds.
This chair has so many features from a side lever, to a number and shape remote control and a reading book on the other side. All great for learning. The seat lifts up to reveal a under seat storage space. This was Missy Moo’s favorite part because it spoke to her every time she open and closed it. It is a great home for her famous Darcy Duck that she carries around endlessly with her. Sometimes she not only sits on her chair and has a play but she also likes to sit in front of it and play with her other toys on it or putting them in the seat storage. There is so many things you can do with this lovely chair. I was really impressed and if her smiles are anything to go by so was she.

In our house everything is shared and while this is specifically for Missy Moo, Buba was itching to have a go too. He definitely approves. I put it on Stage 3 for him as he just turned 3 and it was perfect going through the alphabet and numbers, shapes, and colors with him. Although he says it’s his new “when Missy Moo is napping, movie chair”. I won’t disagree there.
