Good morning, what are you eating for breakfast today?
I don’t know about all of you but I get bored of the same breakfast every day. Most days, I call breakfast a cup of coffee, piece of toast, or a pot of yogurt on the go. Don’t get me wrong I love breakfast. It’s actually one of my favorite meals of the day just not during the week when I am busy. I love getting up on the weekend and making a special family breakfast that we can have all together at the table. I want my kids to grow up remember my weekend breakfasts as special family time.
I actually prefer breakfast for dinner. When I was in college and living on my own I used to eat breakfast for dinner all the time. Scrambles eggs were a frequent to my dinner table. I was too lazy to cook a full meal for one and who doesn’t love a good bowl of cereal at night too? It’s fast, easy and fills me up. I still do it when the kids are asleep and Mr P is out of town. Another favorite breakfast for dinner or the weekend for us are crepes. I am notorious for whipping up a batch of homemade crepes on a whim. Now, I get to add egg & bacon breakfast pizza to my list. I love being in my momma’s kitchen here in the states baking up a storm. It’s also great to have more people testing out my creations than I do at home. I think my neighbors have far given up on me as guinea pigs. Even the office staff at my husband company has had their fill. My parents are welcoming it with open arms for the summer. My Dad said this was fantastic but he would have liked some onions in it. So I take that on board and my mom preferred the eggs runny and I think I liked it a little more overcooked for a soft egg yolk. It’s great to get feedback when you are trying recipes out. Like all my recipes, it’s fast, easy, and the kids love it too. Family friendly recipes is all I make. I am no chef but I like to play around in the kitchen. I can’t wait to try this out for one of our family weekend mornings or dinner one night back home with Mr P.
I was surprised at how much MM loved this pizza as she hates normal pizza. I think I have put it down to no tomato sauce on this pizza like normal pizza. She loved the cottage cheese creaminess of this style pizza. Sadly, B couldn’t try it as he is allergic to eggs but we made him a little bacon one too that he gobbled up.

Recipe Notes
If you like onions in your breakfast why not add them to your breakfast pizza too. I love this with red onions too.

Ooh I don’t think I’ve ever considered a breakfast pizza before but I think Zs eyes would light up at it 🙂
I have ate my fair share of dessert pizzas so thought why not breakfast??? A few alternatives next time I make it like adding onions maybe. But turned out great. Thank you.
My boys love making their own pizzas so this is definitely one for them to try! -#sharewithme

This looks gorgeous. All the best breakfast stuff on a pizza. I am hungry right now but it is our leftovers day, so not much in, before the shopping arrives.
My mouth is watering…this looks so good! I know what you mean about the same breakfast all the week, it gets monotonous! Thanks for sharing this, it looks so yummy! #sharewithme
Yum, I reckon N would love this too. He’s not a fan of pizza, he’s only just really started eating it, But anything different for breakfast he likes.

Love this idea! Breakfast food is something I crave during the day as well, so this is just perfect! And the fact that you attest to it being so kid-friendly is another bonus. I can’t wait to try this with Little Lady! Thank you for sharing, Jenny and for having us on #sharewithme. Hope you’re enjoying your time Stateside!
That looks delicious – at any time of the day! #sharewithme
I love the idea of a breakfast pizza, although I’m pretty sure I’d be eating it for dinner!
Yum! Adding that to my recipes board. 🙂 Thank you so much. Have a great holiday!

A very fun idea 🙂 And a great way to get kids excited for breakfast!
I also love breakfast for dinner– especially when my husband is out and its just me. I will cook complicated meals for the two of us, but when its just me, I just can’t get excited about it!
This looks so delicious! I need to make more homemade pizza! #sharewithme
This is basically my idea of heaven! We’re making pizzas tonight, as it happens. I think it’s a great way to get Gwenn involved. x

Oh yes it was by accident. My littlest, MM never can wait for me to get done taking photos of food before she has her little paws in the food. I think one piece I was trying to take a photo of on a plate and she bite it first. But sometimes they make better photos. lol Thank you.
Yum, this looks so delicious! Pizza is always a hit in my house so breakfast pizza. sounds perfect! Definitely saving this one, thanks for sharing!
It really turned out a family favorite. I have already thought of about six more ways to make this and eat it for a variety of dinners or weekend breakfast times. Thank you.
This is great, minus the bacon for us, but definitely with the onions 🙂 We love doing breakfast for dinner!
Oh yes you could make this vegetarian easily and put all kinds of alternatives on top for a tasty dinner treat. Thanks Sara.
Fab idea, It looks amazing. My other half would love if I cooked that for breakfast (I’m not much of a cook!)

Thank you Becky, it turned out delicious and I was so pleased everyone liked it even MM who hates normal pizza. All my recipes are easy and fast so if I can do it you could promise. 🙂
Looks great. Think I will try a pizza base mix. I keep making my own – which are nice but more deep pan. That looks lovely and thin – which is my fav.
I love a good thin crust pizza now but I used to always go for deep dish. I have made a few different ones and I love how versatile pizza is. Thanks. Let me know if you try it out.
These look and sounds amazing!! I love eggs so I would totally love this! #sharewithme xx
Oh you must try it out, so easy and so fast to do. We will be having it again soon. 🙂 Thank you.
wow Jenny this looks amazing, I am definitely going to have to try this over the holidays for myself and my boys #ShareWithMe
Oh thank you ever so much Helen. It turned out delicious. The boys will love it I promise and it’s super easy and quick to make. My kind of recipe.
Wow Pizza for breakfast, I think I’d LOVE that! I’ve recently found american pancakes & i’m obsessed with having these for breakfast at the weekend, but I think I now have another great breakfast idea! Thanks! #recipeoftheweek
Breakfast is the best all day long. I am a huge pancake and crepe lover too. I am always trying to create yummy recipes with breakfast in mind. Thank you.
This looks incredible! Such an interesting idea for breakfast 🙂 I might have to give it a go myself. #sharewithme xx
Definitely try it out and throw on it whatever you love for breakfast. So many options to choose from too. Let me know if you do and what you think. Thank you for your lovely comment.
OH my goodness Jenny this looks truly delicious- like I think if I could say my ideal food, well savoury anyway, this would be it. So so so yummy. Gorgeous photography too. x
Thanks babes, I will have to come over and bake it for you sometime although it’s so simple even Mads could do it. The kids love helping with this recipe as they get to crack the eggs in the little cheese wells. Try it. Enjoy.
Oh this looks so good! Your photos always make me so hungry haha! x
Well that just means I am doing something right. lol They could be better but all my food props are at home. lol 😉 The pizza turned out fantastic though. My Dad loved it. If you try it out let me knwo what you think babes.
Hmm, I never considered a pizza for breakfast before, but it does look yummy, I have to admit, especially with a runny egg, that would be my choice. Will have to give this a go, though neither my hubby, nor Becky are big fans of pizzas (strange, right?), so I might just have to use myself and baby Alex as guinea pigs, though that’s no hardship – more for us! x #ShareWithMe
Oh no you should try it for the whole family there is no red pizza sauce or anything so it’s very creamy and cheesy. My daughter hates pizza but loves this. My mom loves it runny yolk on top but I like it a bit more cooked. Let me know if you do try it out and what you thought?
That pizza looks incredible! You really have been busy in the kitchen recently. I love that you use US measurements – we don’t get ‘cups’ here often! 😉 x
Oh this is one of my favorite recipes that I made and it came out so good. I really love how it can be for a weekend Sunday breakfast or eating breakfast for dinner. Either way it’s a firm favorite in the family now. (minus B due to allergies of course). Thanks Donna.
