IMG_6086RSI have long been in love with photo canvases, so much so, I have now almost completely covered every inch of every wall in my house with them. As most parents do when they have their first born, pictures start popping up everywhere. I quickly blew up every smile, and special moment into canvased photos for our walls. Then Missy Moo was born and few were dotted about of her cheeky cute smile too but I hadn’t had the chance to enlarge any favourites of her and Buba together. When Canvas Design asked to team up with me for this review, I was excited to pick a picture of Missy Moo and a picture of the two of them together to add to our collection.

I have been on a new photography journey since Missy Moo was born. A journey where I am attempting to learn my DSLR’s manual mode. Not an easy task, I will add. The last 8 months I have taken hundreds of photos of my two, so to pick just two pictures was really hard for me, as most were out of focus, grainy or blurry.

Canvas Design canvases are very high quality. I am no professional photographer but the printing on these canvases are superb. I was so impressed with them when they arrived. They make my mediocre photos look amazing! When comparing these two canvases with other canvases in my house you really can see the difference. You can tell the actual canvas material used on the other ones are not as good, and the frames are not as sturdy. I will be getting all my future canvases made from Canvas Designs, their prices are so reasonable too.

The picture of them together, was more a special moment than the best quality picture. It was the first time Buba realised he finally had a sister that she wasn’t just a doll Mommy and Daddy were playing with. It took him awhile to realised she was another person for him to love too. From the moment I told him he could snuggle her, he hasn’t stopped kissing her or cuddling her. I was worried the photo wouldn’t print well because I have a shaky hand but CanvasDesign printing and quality is that great, it has turned it into a masterpiece!

IMG_6079RSThis is 28 in x 24 in, which I thought was a perfect size for the room. It looks good alone or I could even get away with two mini canvases on either side of it in the future. I love it above our bed, with all our black accents in the room it really pops. The bed is 6 foot by 6 foot so a smaller canvas alone could easily get lost on such a big space.

Canvas Design uses a pure cotton canvas which is one of the heaviest on the market and comes on a sturdy pine frame. A free hanging kit is included with every canvas – which I think is a bonus! No one wants to rush out to look for hanging kits, they want to hang it straight away and admire.

IMG_6078RSThis is 28 in x 18 in. I just love this one of Missy Moo. I have hundreds of smiling pictures of her but this one I thought was just stunning of her. It’s more natural and blown up this big you can see her gorgeous eyelashes and little features so clear.  This one was placed in my hallway so that it catches the eye of people walking up the stairs, straight away.

Overall, I thought CanvasDesign did a stunning job on two photos that a beginner photographer took which just shows you how good their canvases and printing really are! Both canvases are sturdy, and beautiful. I really am so in love with them.

Delivery was incredibly fast, from the time I submit my photos until I was unwrapping the secure bubble wrapping, wasn’t more than a week.

    • Thank you. It’s my favorite. Funny enough that one was taken with an iPhone. Lol I am so new at it too. Wish I could take those fab moment catchers. But mine are always blurry or out of focus.

  9. The pictures are amazing, I wish I could get my two daughters to lie next to each other, but the eldest won’t tolerate her little sister! The black and white is really striking 🙂

    • Thank you Lorraine, I love black and white photos! I used to be able to now they both won’t lay still. They roll in opposite directions thinking it’s hilarious to see Mommy begging them to smile up at her. I have even gone as far as bribery!!! lol

  14. The black and white really works well. I can imagine that any other single colour/white would work well too, in the right setting (if you know what I mean)

    • Thank you very much. I really was so impressed with their outcome as I am no professional photographer so I thought if I blow up my own pictures this big it wouldn’t turn out as good but it did. They are that good at printing and quality of canvases they use. Good luck to win your own!!!!

  23. Your pictures are so beautiful, I wish I could take good ones, there’s always something in the background that spoils mine. But I have a few anyway that I would love on canvas and I think the black and white looks a bit more special too, well done on them, gorgeous children you have too x

    • I am trying to get better at my photography. It’s a long journey but I really am learning so much in the process. You could always use picmonkey to edit photos for free and remove unwanted items in the background. It’s easy and fast. Just a thought!!! Good luck to win.

    • Thank you. It’s my favorite and taken would you believe with my iphone before I got into photography. It was one of those amazing accident pictures. But a sweet moment I am so glad I captured.
