Dreaming of Dubai at Easter

Last updated on May 6th, 2024 at 02:26 pm

It would appear we aren’t going anywhere for February and Easter half terms this year. Doh! We had dreams of going to visit our friends in Dubai at Easter. It got me thinking just because we can’t go this year doesn’t mean we should be discouraged about ever going. Why not plan the best Dubai at Easter trip for next year? It will give us more time to plan it out and something positive to look forward to ahead!

Have you been to Dubai at Easter?

Our friends have lived there for a few years so we have the inside scoop that this is a great time to visit weather wise.

Easter is lovely in Dubai and the temperatures are just right. You won’t believe the difference being able to walk more than 50 yards and eating outside will bring to your experience of Dubai. It’s a whole different kind of holiday.

You can visit Dubai on a budget or splurge to make it your biggest and luxurious holiday yet. I know many of us have had the last two years holidays all refunded or credited back to us so I am sure you will want to make it the latter.

But if you are on a tight budget don’t be discouraged either. Use sites for cheap flights that have a stop off rather than direct. Compare what it would cost to book flights and hotel separately against the package deals available. Sometimes you can save a lot when booking separate. Try a city hotel, which will be cheaper than the beach hotels if you are on a tight budget.

But if you want to splurge here are a few options to check out. Some of our friends recommendations would be to stay at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Atlantis, Fairmont, Anantara Palm or Hilton Jumeirah Beach.

Places like Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Atlantis have great restaurant options and free access to the Wild Wadi Water Park. Jumeirah Beach Hotel is connected with other Jumeirah hotels along the beach so you can go to other locations for a change of scenery.

There is so much to do this list could be endless. Just the options of family desert excursions are a plenty. And going to Dubai in Easter makes it bare to be outside experiencing all these wonders of the world.

Don’t forget to pack all your tech gear because you are going to want to capture every second of your trip with videos and photos. Dubai is one of the most instagrammable places on earth. Just remember to come out from behind the lens to see it up close and personal too. You won’t forget it.
