I have long wanted my babies to let me carry them around in cozy contraptions that leave me hands free. Unfortunately, my first two babies screamed the house down every time I attempted to put them in a baby carrier. They just didn’t like the tight squeeze. I was so sad as I always wanted to wear my baby. It’s such a lovely experience and bond I think. Fast forward a few years later when our surprise baby arrived and loved to be snuggled and carried. Hooray! My last baby is fulfilling all sorts of wishes I had with my first including my water birth experience finally. Another great one is he loves being in his baby carriers which ever style we choose to put him in. I love the Izmi Wrap because I feel like he is closer and cozier to me. I love the style and design of it too. Hubby prefers the more sturdy style of the Izmi Breeze and the clips make him feel more secure holding little baby boy.
The Izmi Wrap comes in variety of colors but for summer I opted for this teal one. It will go with most of my outfits too which is always lovely for summer time. I will have my hands free to get things done. This is so helpful when you have three children and a busy schedule to keep to. At first it was a little tricky figuring out which places to cross the wrap but as soon as I figured it out, I was an instant pro. I absolutely love that there are a variety of ways to wear it from front, side, back and outward facing too. The soft fabric is really supportive on your shoulders and back too.
We went to my older kids’ sports day this week with baby boy in the Izmi Wrap and it was lovely cheering on the kids as they ran each race and snuggling little man at the same time. It was in a field where we could take the stroller and he slept his nap time perfectly snuggled to mommy. Routines on the go are so important to us. The wrap is great for on the go or at home when you need to get some chores down or work done in my case as I work from home.
The Izmi Breeze is one that will stick with us a little longer than the 9 months that is recommended for the Izmi Wrap. It will hold more weight and can also be worn a few different ways. Hubby prefers baby carriers that are a bit more sturdy and use clips to secure baby to you.
This one has a lovely sun, mesh hood so baby can snooze away and his head be protected. The mesh is great to enable better air flow for those hot days. It will be perfect for our trip to America this summer when the temperature hit 100 degrees.
I love the grey and black style of this one. It is really comfortable to wear and easy to adjust to fit my hubby and than fit me.
I think it’s so cute watching my hubby carry our baby around. Something so loving and family about it. They get a good snuggle and bond too. Baby carrying gives you that added closeness.
The Izmi Breeze is soft, lightweight and Extra Breathable. It was designed by theInternational Hip Dysplasia Institute so you can rest assure that it’s healthy for baby’s hips. It’s washable and quick drying for those newborn babies like mine that like to spit up and have poonamis on the go too.
Suitable from birth to 18 months old. It has a seat cushion and a storage bag that comes with it too. It ergonomically supports and distributes baby’s weight evenly to reduce pressure on your back. This is a big bonus for me, being a small person, a heavy baby on the front can really make my back hurt at times.
We are enjoying this final stage in our family’s life with a newborn. He won’t be little for very long as they grow up so fast. Until then we will soak up every moment he let’s us cuddle him, carry him, kiss and snuggle him close. My last baby is ticking all those baby wish lists for me to experience.
Have you used baby carriers in the past or present? How have you found them? Did your baby enjoy it?
*We were sent these carriers for the purpose of this review but all opinions are our own.
