I have just fallen in love with a new shop called Peekaboo Shop. They have so many things to offer for Babies & Toddlers, I am in awe of it all. From their stunning, fun, vibrant coloured patterns, to their unique toys that also serve other purposes like feeding, all of it is so unique and so fun. My favourite part about their numerous collections are the patterns! I can match everything together and if you have followed my blog long, you will know I love matchy-matchy things for my kids. Since I have both a toddler and a baby, my wish list for each of them just got a whole lot longer. Out of the brands they carry, one in particular has caught my eye, called La Millou.
Right from the moment I opened the manila envelope and saw the lovely eco friendly bag with a matching patterned heart tied to it, I was in love with this company. Caring for the environment and showing love and appreciation for the customer, all just in the packaging. Now that’s my kind of company to buy from. The little hearts are adorable too, I have placed a few on every door handle to bring a little colour and brightness to each door. Sound great doesn’t it and I haven’t even got to the goods yet.
This super soft toddler blanket is stunning with it’s bright multi-coloured Hippos on one side and it’s lime green fuzzy backing on the other. It has a fantastic combination of high quality cotton, and anti-allergic filling which allows it to breath. Perfect to decorate your little tot’s new big kid bed. Although in our house it gets used for a multiple of things so it didn’t last on my toddlers bed more than a few minutes. 
Buba took to it straight away, he loved the super soft lime green side. I said it was his new blanket for his big boy bed and he replied, “No, Mommy, that’s my movie blanket”. It now goes where Buba goes, off to bed, down the stairs in the morning to watch his morning cartoons, and curled up here in the evening with Missy Moo, to watch their new favourite movie, Frozen. I asked him what his favourite thing about his new blanket was, in which he replied, “The Hippos, I count them for you, 1, 2, 3, 4…..!” He kept counting them over and over to me. Educational and cozy, I love it even more. 
Buba was not the only fan of this gorgeous Hippo blanket, Missy Moo took a shine to it too. I foresee a few tug-a-wars happening soon. The top left picture was the first time she flipped it over, and saw the vibrant hippos on the other side. She was fascinated by them. Her favourite game with it was to pull it in front of her face and play “peekaboo” quite fitting since it’s from Peekaboo.
For Buba, this cozy La Millou blanket is his movie blanket, and for Missy Moo, it’s a new friend to play with. Either way they both were as happy with it as I was. I loved the pattern, so creative and funky, very unique to other toddler blankets you see on the market.
