HIM
B, we are slowly coming out of a bad school bug that has plagued us this past week and half, on top of some food allergies you were struggling with at school lunchtime. I am feeling better that we have some answers and some solutions in place now. I hope you started to go back to the happy little boy you were a few weeks ago. I am glad through it all you were still happy enough to go to school. I can only imagine this week will be even better now that you are well again. It’s tough as your mother and knowing what’s best for you and doing the right thing in terms of your allergies. You were very emotional while it was all going on but I think that has slightly more to do with you being so tired your first few weeks full time at school. You have been so busy on the weekends too with trips to the zoo, classes after school and bike rides to the park. I think it’s all catching up with you as much as it is me.

MM, you have now caught the school plague from your brother. It’s round two for it in this house. That’s what happens when you have two hugging and kissing and sharing everything right down to their illnesses and bugs. You take it in your stride though a little better and stronger than your big brother does. You almost try to ignore it until it breaks you and you have to stop and take a rest but until it does that you continue to go a hundred miles an hour. Who does that sound like? Yes, your dear old mom. Your eyes are getting bluer like the sky and sometimes I get lost in them wondering what your future dreams will be of. Wonder what you will be like when you are older and have children of your own. Not wishing your childhood away but intrigued if we are in fact similar as it seems. You have not go used to the fact that B is in school every day and learning to be your own person. You had your first trial day at your new nursery and you did perfectly. It seems a better environment, space and key workers that you have already bonded with now. I am so happy we have moved you closer to home and to a place you are more comfortable in, one that suits you better. It just shows you that every child really is so different.

Gorgeous pictures! MM’s eyes are beautiful. Glad B is feeling better but what a shame MM has got it now! Hope your house is germ free soon x
I think that’s just the way of siblings and now I have it too. A family that shares here. lol 🙂 We will get over it all in time for our holiday for half term I hope.
Oh I’m so glad B is on the mend, it must have been so hard for you to see him tired and poorly. And wow MM’s eyes really are amazing – lucky girl 🙂
It really was especially when you don’t know the cause of it too. With him it’s hard to tell is it something he ate or a bug he picked up. It’s a guessing game. I hope they go bluer than mine like my neices they are piercing blue.
Really lovely photographs Jenny, glad to hear your little man is feeling better. The first few weeks of term are always full of germs (even for the teachers!) Hope your little lady feels better soon #LivingArrows xx
Very kind of you Emma, thanks hun. I think that’s just it getting used to everyone sharing it all.
Glad you are on the right path to healthy children again. That picture of MM, beautiful, her eyes are magical xx
It was a tough week and I had no patience bless them but too much to do to sit and wallow about it isn’t there? lol Onward and upward as parenting goes. Thanks Kara, I think hers will be bluer than mine for sure.
Glad to hear the new nursery is working out., Shame the lurgy’s spread but hopefully they’ll both be germ free for a while now.
I feel so much better now and I can’t believe just moving her made it all so much easier. Every child is different and clearly she needed more than they were giving her or just a new environment than that one. I hope we are germ free pass Christmas this year. Last year we plagued through until the new year.
Oh no! Sorry to hear they have both been poorly! Time of year and back to school just means it is one of those things isn’t it. xxx
Thanks Katy, it’s been a tough few days. It really is the season for it.
Oh crikey, I do hope you are bug free now. It’s such a relief to have them both settled at school and nursery, I hope it continues x #livingarrows
Yes finally all on the mend and feeling better just in time for Daddy to be home and make it look so easy hahaha B is doing better in school with his tummy and MM is loving her new nursery so all is looking upwards.
