Love the little things #21 & WIN

Last updated on May 6th, 2024 at 10:21 am

Happy Friday everyone and welcome to the #littleloves of life, or at least #littleloves of my life, this week. The sun is shining and I have been shopping all day at Cheshire Oaks, one couldn’t complain about all of that.

Read

This week, I have been branching out my reading to recipe books. Eat & Make by Paul Lowe has fast become one of my new favorites which the lovely Capture by Lucy recommended to me. The photography in it is amazing as well. So many creative ideas, crafts, and great food recipes. What’s not to like?

Watched

I am not usually one to watch english reality tv, the accent usually has me so confused, but I have a small, guilty pleasure for Made in Chelsea. If you don’t watch it there is a lovely girl named Binky, who has been cheated on by her boyfriend whom most viewers will agree, we all thought he was one of the good ones. CLEARLY NOT! I hope the famous Binky’s mother gets her hands on him! And way to go Binky for giving him a great slap  in front of everyone.

Heard

Gretchen Wilson – Still Rollin’ {great song}

Wore

Thanks to my lovely friend, my hair trial went great and I have learned how to put my own hair up, just in time for Missy Moo’s christening slash birthday party. What do you think?

Made

The week prior, I made some yummy, delicious chilli con carne, and what a better way to complete it than with a slice of cornbread on the side, crumbled on top, or mixed right in. Click the picture for the recipe and let me know what you think.

And lastly

I am quite sad to not have made the Brilliance in Blogging Finals but so happy that so many of all my favorite bloggers have. They certainly all deserve to be there on that list!  I am so proud of all of them! Way to go!!

  1. Your hair looks beautiful like that. So so pretty.
I also love Made In Chelsea, the whole Binky/Alex thing is so upsetting, he’s such a silly boy. xx

    • The recipe book is amazing. I truly love it. The hair I thought would be great for christening / bday party thank you. Hoping I can replicate it though.

  2. Loving your hair – so elegant! Didn’t make the Britmums finals either, but congratulations to everyone who did, so well-deserved.

    • Yes so many of my favorites were listed, and I am so happy for them. I am a very open person would lie if I said I wasn’t upset about it but maybe someday I will make it. Thanks for the hair compliment. Hope I can do it again like this on the day of the party.

  3. Your hair looks so pretty, I just can’t do anything even vaguely curly as my hair is surprisingly heavy and just pulls it out 🙁
I’ve still never watched an episode of Made In Chelsea and starting to feel like I’m missing out. I may have to give it a whirl sometime soon!
Have a lovely week Jenny xxx
