I am Mummy or Mommy or Mama depending on who is talking in our house. Either way, I am usually their night in shining armor. Don’t all kids idiolize their parents at this age? With a 7, 5 and 6 month old, we are still in the days of make believe games, using our imagination, building tents, painting faces, and playing silly games on the carpet together. I can be running around pretending to be an superhero with a bath towel cape on my back or we can be playing dress up together.
I love that my kids love to dress up whether it’s for make believe or for family holidays. They love match each other or everyone in the family. I love getting us to coordinate on holiday if I can help it. It’s not always easy to find things that work together for five different people and five different sizes but worth it when I can. I already have all our matching Christmas pjs for Christmas Eve ready to go. We are teaming up with White Stuff to showcase these awesome Mummy and Me coordinating set below.
I love this gorgeous bobble hat and matching poncho set. It’s super warm, super soft and so fun for the holiday season ahead. When I let my daughter open the box and she found inside a matching set for herself too – she squealed with delight! I doubt that will last much longer so I will soak it up as much as I can just like soaking up them idiolizing me because we know that goes soon too.
We had a little girlie and mommy morning at the cafe and then went to see the ducks (her favorite) at our local park. We love this park for so many reasons and have been coming for years to it. I love taking photos to bring back all those visits and the memories that were made with them. My daughter felt like she was on a pedestal.
My poncho was so soft with plush grey and cream stripes and tassels on the corners. This poncho is trimmed out in dark pink while it’s mini matching poncho on my daughter is trimmed in light pink. She went mad for the yellow and pink tassels, her two favorite colors together.
I can’t tell you how many people have complimented me or my daughter on our pom pom hats. I love a good pom pom accessory. This colorful one is soft on my forehead and warm for those cold morning school runs. It’s oatmeal color makes it pair with my winter wardrobe perfectly. Don’t forget the mini cable pom pom hat to match.
Are you ready for winter? Do you have your bobble hats and ponchos ready?

Such gorgeous photo’s of you both. She’s the image of you. I really wish I had the confidence to step out in front of the camera for photo’s with my kids.

Oh it took one really awkward horrific year of trying to do it and then one year of being semi awkward and feeling so self conscious about everything. I am working on the third year of just enjoying it and being myself. It’s not easy and have had three close blogging friends help me through it. otherwise I would have never done it.
Oh Jenny what gorgeous photos! Those matching ponchos are adorable – I bet MM was absolutely thrilled bless her. I’ve never matched my girls clothes with each other (or had them match me) – they’re all so different it just wouldn’t look right! And they would hate it as they’re such feisty little individuals. I live vicariously through others instead 🙂
You could always match the same color different styles for everyone. Win win. lol It’s not always for everyone. I am slightly obsessed can’t help it.
What beautiful pictures of you and your girl Jenny!!! I’m sure many of these will be made into Christmas presents for the grandparents, and if not YOU SHOULD!!! It’s always lovely finding mother daughter matching items and you guys look so warm and cosy in these hats and ponchos. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!
It’s so fun if only I could find more for the kids to all match. boy and girl matching is harder. Thanks hunny. Can’t beat hats and ponchos for sure.
Two peas in a pod! Absolutely stunning photos Jenny x
