Buba, your love for cars has not faded but only grown larger. I swear I see so much of my Dad in you and it’s one of very things that brings you and your Grandpa so close. I hope it never fades and its something the two of you can continue to share and bond over. Even 10,000 miles away you chat on facetime together about your cars and what colors they are, leaving me and Grandma out of the loop. It’s so adorable to watch you in front of the laptop going through each one with Grandpa and then asking questions all about his cars. You are so lucky Grandpa builds old cars for a hobby so he always has new stories to tell you. At the same time you have a special bond with your Daddy too. He is the apple of your eye whether you both are out playing soccer or golf or just wrestling around in the living room, he makes you belly laugh harder than anyone. I am so grateful you have such great male role models in your life. I hope you learn from them and grow up to be a great gentleman yourself.

Missy Moo, you are changing so much each week. You are little Miss Independent as I said last week but you are showing a softer side now too, just like your brother did. You follow his milestones month after month doing the same little corky things he did at the same age. Your personalities were so different as babies and yet as toddlers you both seem so much more alike than I realized. You have an obsession with your coat. You only liked to be cuddled when you have walked over for one not if someone invites themselves in for one. You love brushing your teeth. You love bath time. You are attaching yourself to your blankies. All things your brother did at this very age. You love people watching like your parents. You are constantly at the front window watching people walk to school or on a walk with their dogs. I love how you innocently fold your hands as you sit there observing, taking the world around you in, peacefully. I can’t wait for you to start talking more and I often wonder sitting there watching you what your voice will sound like.

You are both partners in crime these days. There isn’t a day go by if one of you is doing something naughty I can almost guarantee you both are doing it together. For example, hiding things behind the couches. I can’t count how many times I set my cell phone down for a second or Daddy sets the remote down only to turn back around and you both have run off giggling somewhere to hide it. You both are little rascals and when you are being partners in crime together I find it hard to tell you off at the same time. The cuteness and the team effort of it makes me smile too much. I am sure that will fade as you both get older but for now in it’s newest form I will smile at you both working together at something. You both have been ill with Mommy lately too. Buba you have always been the softer one, the sentimental one like your Momma to comfort all of us but it came as a surprise this week Missy Moo that you were the one rubbing Buba’s back and kissing his forehead in such a loving protective way. It was a new milestone for you. A beautiful milestone to witness and I hope you always keep that caring side with you as you grow up. You both continue to amaze me day after day and I have been very emotional lately of how much you both have grown up.
They look so cute together and like they’re really close siblings which is so lovely. I love that Bubba has such a special relationship and bond with his Grandfather even though there’s a big distance between them. I love watching my own Little Z and my Dad together. Z always parks himself in my Dads lap for ages and makes himself very comfortable 🙂
That photo of them together is just gorgeous! x
Ahh thank you so much. They are fun together.
Gorgeous pictures hun, especially the last one x #LivingArrows
Thank you. I love capturing candid photos of them in their own world or doing something they love.
Gorgeous photos of them as always. It must be so strange having 2 very individual little people, but then watching them doing the same milestones at the same time. Lovely update #livingarrows
Thank you hunny. It’s like having twins but 20 months apart. It really is freaky sometimes. I think you are looking and acting more and more like each other everyday. It is very strange.
Oh that’s such a gorgeous photo of the pair of them together – they sound like adorable little monkeys, of and Missy Moo’s obsession with her coat made me giggle – Elma has just grown into a new one of Kitty’s cast offs and she’s absolutely besotted with it!
It’s funny when they attach themselves to something so random like a coat. At nursery they have to hide it from her or she will sit underneath it and cry for it. hahaha Bless her. Thanks Carie.
