My Baby & Toddler’s Ski Wardrobe – A Mark Warner Blog Challenge

Last updated on November 18th, 2023 at 05:35 pm

I grew up being a snow bunny myself, taking to the slopes at a young age and tackling snowboarding with the rest of the family but I have long to learn how to ski and take my family on a skiing holiday. I was so excited when I saw that Mark Warner’s blogging challenge #3 was teaming up with one of my favourite brands Polarn O. Pyret. There hasn’t been a piece of clothing that I have bought from Polarn O. Pyret and not fallen in love with. Many of the kids range I would love in my own size but enough about me, let’s keep these kiddies warm and cozy on the slopes.

Here I share with you my son’s wish-list ski slope wardrobe:

When the weather is as cold as it is on the slopes, the little ones must be wrapped up warm. For my son, Buba, I chose a pair of thermals in a colour that I know would make his blue eyes pop and keep him warm and cozy underneath his outerwear. For his outerwear I chose a fantastic  jacket and bottoms which will keep the wet snow at bay. A skiing wardrobe is not complete without outdoor accessories so I chose a matching blue fur hat and gloves to keep the heat from escaping his extremities and a neck warmer to keep the draft-y wind out.

Here I share with you my daughter’s wish-list ski slope wardrobe:

It’s hard to know, when temperature drop, exactly how to dress your baby but with the right choices you can feel at ease that they are warm and cozy and they can continue to play long after the snow has fallen. I chose these gorgeous red thermals to give her that layer of comfort and warmth.  I chose an all-in-one, snowsuit. She is still too little to wear a separate coat and bottoms. This all-in-one would be fantastic to keep her playing, happy and more importantly warm and dry. No skiing outfit is finished without a hat and gloves. I added this gorgeous dribble bib because if you knew my daughter she is a drooler and drooling on her clothes wouldn’t be good in the cold, this can ensure she has added protection to keep her dribbles off her thermals.

Hopefully I haven’t forgot anything and that our dream of becoming a ski slope family comes true someday. I have so many great memories with my family growing up on the slopes and I would love to have that with my own kids someday too. There is nothing better than exploring the great outdoors together as a family and when you have the right equipment and proper clothing than it just leaves you with nothing to worry about except for who is making the hot cocoa when you get in!
