It’s that time, where baby is on the go! By go, I really mean go! Baby O is officially climbing everything, running everywhere, and nonstop on a daily basis.
Now, he has his first set of wheels to go faster too. He is testing out his new SmarTrike T1 blue Scooter for the first time. I think it’s safe to say, by his face, he loves it.
It definitely made him feel like one of the crew with his older siblings scooting next to him. Even they were as excited as he was to ride. I was excited that we have a way to get him plenty of exercise while we are in isolation.
I love that the T1 Scooter has so many features that can grow with him. We started out by using the adjustable toddler seat to learn how to scoot and the feeling of scooting. This is a great first step if they aren’t good at balancing or still too little to stand up and scoot.
T1 SCOOTER FEATURES:
Non-slip Handles:
Soft touch rubber handles for easy grip and non-slip for those little hands.
Toddler Seat:
Start learning to scoot early with a height adjustable and comfortable seat. Teaching them scooting and balance.
Telescopic Handlebar:
Soft touch rubber handles for easy grip and non-slip for those little hands.
Rear brake:
Easy to use spring brake at the back for scooting control.
I love that they have really made it easy for toddlers to enjoy riding outdoors and exploring on wheels. It’s never too early to start being active and we absolutely love getting outdoors. With kids growing so fast it’s great that their wheels can grow with them.
Baby O even uses this in our house. We have no carpet downstairs and it’s open plan so he loves using it with the toddler seat and doing laps around the kitchen island. It’s hilarious. He shouts, “my wheels, voom, voom, my wheels, voom.”
Baby O even braved freestyle mode without the toddler seat. I was so impressed with how fast he picked up how to scoot one foot and leave the other planted on the scooter. We adjusted the handlebar so it was at chest level giving him support while he tries to balance. Just watching his siblings scoot around him, he was off in minutes right behind them.
There is nothing I love more than watching them become active and love the outdoors as much as I do. With three kids, all loving their scooters, it’s safe to say we scoot a lot and rack up the miles on our wheels. We have always trusted SmarTrike products with our kids. They have lasted for years of us zooming around parks and neighborhoods.
What age were your children when they got their first scooter?
