Easter is almost here and what a lovely excuse as Spring hits us with warmer temperatures to decorate the house with tulips and some Easter home accessories. I love making my home decor seasonal. It not only gets me in the happy spirits to celebrate but it makes the house feel fresh and alive with the changing interiors. It can be as subtle as a new vase with flowers to a whole room revamp.
This month for Styling the Seasons, I have ever so EGG-cited that bunnies, tulips and chocolate are taking over my back sitting room. What says Easter more than that?
I couldn’t resist using bunting on my console table either. I love how much fun bunting brings to a room. It always reminds me of birthdays but I think you can use it for any decorating concept. I have used this gorgeous pastel colored bunting to make my little Easter corner tie in with Spring. After all, Easter is only one day but I think this look will work lovely for the entire Spring season, minus a few chocolate eggs. I doubt the chocolate will even make it to Easter if I am honest nor the fluffy pink bunny marshmallows. Throughout Spring I will be filling this lovely vase and many more in the house, constantly with vibrant colored tulips. Hello Spring time!
If you ever visit my home you can always be sure of one thing…there is always treats to greet you. I love this glass bowl above full of seasonal sweets to welcome visitors. It’s tempting for myself when no one is around too but for the most part it’s quickly become known as our guest sweet bowl. Anyone up for a coffee at mine?
This year I am joining in with Katy from Apartment Apothecary and Charlotte from Lotts and Lots in a monthly blogging series called “Styling the Seasons”. Come join us in sharing lovely styled corners of your home and be inspired by some beautiful images using #stylingtheseasons on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

Styling the Seasons: February
Oh it all looks beautiful. The sweets would be eaten by my kids in an instant but the bunting and the bunnies are lovely. I love all things Easter-all year round 🙂
What a lovely idea, your console table looks fab! Love the idea of a guest sweet bowl, but I’d be terrible and eat one each time I went past it!! You (and your kids) must have great self control!! Jess x
I love your taste in interior! Some great ideas. Especially the sweet bowl 🙂 xx
Aw I love your little Easter corner! 🙂 x
Thanks Katie…it feel so Springy and fresh. Can’t wait for the rest of the house to get finished. Have been walking around with two complete rooms empty for months its driving me crazy. lol
Ahh, this is all so pretty and joyful! Love the accent colour and all the pastels. But, how long did all that chocolate last after you took the pics?! x
Hahaha thanks lovely. I am good if it’s for guests than I don’t touch them. Hate not having something to offer when people visit. Glad you like it.
I want to come to your house and eat sweet treats!! This is lovely, Jenny. I don’t decorate for Easter but not I’m wondering why on earth not!

So beautiful! 🙂 I love tulips 🙂
The tulips are absolutely gorgeous in your space! You’ve done a great job decorating and I don’t know how you keep from eating all the sweets. They’d be gone the day after I bought them…but that’s just me 😉 #sharewithme
Oh I love tulips so much I wish I could have fresh ones all year round in the house. They are so vibrant. I am good if the sweets are for guests they stay for the guests but if they are in the cupboard they are fair game. lol
Looks great Jenny. I don’t have a vote for any of these UK awards, but if I did, you’d have it. Hope you had a great Easter
gorgeous tulips! I’m so impressed that the eggs manage to stay there and not get pinched by tiny hands 😉
