Hillary blinds have always been a favorite brand of mine and one of their online brands, Web-blinds.com is promoting a sleep campaign, at the moment. I have mentioned on here a few times that Mr P suffers from insomnia often so I was looking forward to testing out one of their roman blinds for our master bathroom as the light from the window hits our bed and more importantly Mr P’s side of the bed. Would this blind help him sleep more? Would it help me sleep more?
There is nothing worse then the light waking you up earlier than you want to be up. With the days getting longer it’s often light in the summer months when we want to go to bed too. I was impressed how quickly my blind arrived after sending my measurements in online. I had never measured a window for blinds before but Web-blinds customer service were quick to send me a How-To depending on if I wanted the roman blind inside or outside the window frame. So helpful and user friendly.
I fell in love with Amethyst Stone fabric as it matched my bathroom tiles and towels perfectly. The overall quality was amazing and the blackout fabric really made a huge difference. It definitely has finished off the room and I am already looking for fabric for my other bathroom I love it so much.
It’s only been up a few days but already Mr P has commented on how great it is that the light is blocked out now in the mornings and early evenings. Light can disrupt sleep more than you think. Getting a good night sleep is so important, many people don’t realise it can affect us in some many ways when we don’t get enough. Harming our physical being, changing our emotional wellbeing, and making it hard to think or work effectively.

What a lovely blind, I bet it’s made a real difference. We’re all really sensitive to the light,and are waking up earlier and earlier 🙁
Ya I am all about completely black out blinds and curtains in all our bedrooms. Both my kids rooms are pitch black so they sleep really good even in the summer when the pesky light won’t go away. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Thanks Lucinda. It truly is. I have black out blinds in all our bedrooms and curtains on top in my kids room. They are pitch black to keep my sleeping babies asleep during those summer months. 😉 Thanks for popping over.

Thanks Gina you are too kind. We haven’t lived in it long, it was empty for so long. It’s nice to finally start finishing off rooms. Kitchen will be the next room tour s stay tuned. I will be sharing where I shop and what I look for too later in the week and next.

Thank you Jade. I was really happy how great they matched the rest of the decor of the bathroom. I am obsessed with the lime green color so thought this amethyst fabric would bring that out and add a little purple to it all.
